Austin, TX - OSHA has cited a company based in Austin for six violations along with fines totaling $50,000. These violations were found after an inspection that took place in September last year. Two of the violations were repeat violations from failing to protect employees from cave-ins and failing to remove workers from a site with known hazards. The rest of the violations came from failing to provide a ladder near the workers in trenches, failing to remove objects that could fall into the trench, and check the air for gases. The company has been given 15 days to agree or dispute the citations.
